How do I fix a License Error in VeriScan for Windows?

When you attempt to scan a document, you receive a License Error stating 'Something's wrong with your license, please contact your administrator'.

If you receive the following error message, please double check your software license status and expiration date.

You can find this information by navigating to Settings > License. Here you will see something similar to the following, with an error on the license, but the expiration date being still in the future.

If you see both of these, then you can resolve this issue by performing the following steps.
