A guide to setting up the Enterprise Launcher on Unitech EA660, PA768, and RT112 devices with the VeriScan app in Kiosk Mode.
This article only applies to the following devices:
- Unitech EA660
- Unitech PA768
- Unitech RT112
Installing Enterprise Launcher 2.0
Make sure that your device is connected to the internet before downloading any applications from Unitech Software Update. Swipe up on the home screen to open the app drawer. Click on the Software Update app icon. |

Next, locate the ELauncher in the Unitech Software Update app.
Click the Install button to begin the download.
When the download is complete, you should see the version number under the app name.
Go back to the home screen and open the app drawer. You should now see the ELauncher app is installed on your device. Tap on the ELaucher app icon to open the Enterprise Launcher. |

Setting up the Enteprise Launcher to only allow VeriScan
Open the ELauncher app. You should see a new simplified home screen. This will replace the original home screen and allow you to limit the device to only use the VeriScan app and not launch any other apps such as YouTube, Google Chrome, or system settings.
In the ELauncher home screen, you should see an icon in the lower right corner called Admin Mode. Tap on the Admin Mode button to open the Admin Configuration Menu. |

Set to Default Launcher
Tap this option to set the ELauncher as the default home screen. This is a required step to use the rest of the ELauncher features. You should see a success! message when the home has been set. |

Admin PIN Code Settings
Tap this option to enable a PIN code. This will prevent users from circumventing the Kiosk Mode, as the Admin PIN will be required to exit the VeriScan App. |

Entering Kiosk Mode
Tap this option to set up Kiosk Mode for VeriScan, which will disallow users from exiting the VeriScan app wihtout using the Admin Code set above.
Enable the checkbox to Enable Kiosk Mode. This prevent using the home button or back buttons from exiting the select application. Next, tap the Select App dropdown menu. |

Scroll through the list of apps and find VeriScan. Tap on the VeriScan icon to select it. |

Now, Kisok Mode should be enabled and VeriScan should be selected as the Kiosk Mode app. When you swipe up on the home button, or use the back gesture to exit the Admin Mode menu, you will automatically be rerouted into the VeriScan app. |

Exiting Kiosk Mode
Once VeriScan has been set as the Kiosk Mode app, the only way to exit the VeriScan app will be to use the Admin Pin.
First, swipe down from the top right of the screen:
The Notification Menu will show any notifications that have popped up since entering Admin Mode. The Action Menu has some basic device functions, such as rebooting the device. The Settings Menu has some basic device settings such as toggling WiFi, Bluetooth, and Sounds. |

Next, tap on the Three-Dot Icon in the fare right of the top bar. This will open the Admin Mode panel again as seen above in the configuration steps. Since you have already set an Admin PIN, it will prompt you to enter your 16-character passcode before allowing to make any changes.

Enter your passcode and press the OK button. You should now be presented with the Admin Mode menu once more, where you can make changes such as:
