ParseLink Product Updates July 2026

1 update to ParseLink for Windows.

2.27.7.1 - Released 7/27/2026

Added

  • LocalHost API: Added a new API for integration, allowing status checks, scan commands, and data retrieval via HTTPS requests over localhost.

  • Jack Henry jXchange: Added editable fields on the Process ID screen in case the legal name on the ID differs from the name entered in jXchange.
  • Added a checkbox in the About section for collecting anonymous performance and usage data.

Changed

  • Parser updated to 16.2607.23.3

Fixed

  • Fixed an issue where default profiles could be recreated after an upgrade even if the user had previously deleted them.
  • Jack Henry jXchange: Fixed an issue where conditional logic for expired IDs was not being respected, causing IDs to always be denied instead of following the checkbox setting.
  • MSI: Fixed an issue where the installer could fail to automatically stop the previous version of the update service during an upgrade, due to the service being renamed to support new Localhost functionality.
  • Profile Editor: Fixed an exception that occurred when opening the Profile Editor if the settings folder was missing.
  • Thales: Fixed an issue where the Gemalto process would not close itself if the main process crashed.
  • Profile Editor: Fixed a null pointer error that occurred when pressing a key in the custom keystroke box under Special Keys.
  • Admin PIN: Fixed an issue where enabling Admin PIN could prevent users from unblocking or closing the application.
  • MSI: Fixed an intermittent error in the Windows Event Log that could prevent install, repair, or uninstall.
  • MSI: Fixed an intermittent error during install, repair, or uninstall when Localhost mode was enabled and a browser had made a Localhost API call.
  • Fixed an issue where the application would not launch on system startup after a computer restart, even with the autostart setting enabled.
  • Fixed an issue where the Regula 7027 scanner would not respond to scans after the computer woke from sleep.
