How do I set the VeriScan for Android app up in Self Service mode?
How to enable a fullscreen, minimal-data view in VeriScan for Android.
Prerequisites
The Self-Service Mode extension is only compatible with the following scanners:
- Unitech EA660 *
- Unitech PA768 *
- Unitech RT112 *
- IDWare Falcon Tablet

Installing the Extension
Tap the three-line menu button in the top left corner.
Navigate to ☰ > Settings > Extensions to open the extensions download menu.
Find "Self-Service Mode" in the list of available extensions.
Click the Install button to install the Self-Service Mode extension.
Wait for the download to finish and the installation to complete.
Using the Extension Menu
Tap the 🛈 button next to the self-service extension to learn how to use the extension.
The extension information menu will contain key information on starting and stopping self-service mode. Tap the 🛈 icon in the app to learn more.
Using Self-Service Mode
The standard system interface will be hidden, as well as any personal information. A video will play instructing the visitor on how to scan their ID.
Exiting Self Service Mode
To exit fullscreen mode, please read the instructions carefully before launching the extension. How to exit may vary depending on your device type and Android OS version.

Using the Extension
After you've learned how to start and stop the extension, tap the Launch button.
You'll see a video playing on the screen instructing users how to use the scanner.
No personal information will appear on the screen, only a green "Passed" message when the ID is valid or a red "Failed" message when the ID is invalid, expired, underage, banned, or trespassed.
