VeriScan Product Updates April 2026

Third party checks are now fully controlled by the VeriScan Cloud Portal
Updated Phidgets Library for VeriLocks.
Optimized loading the history view from within the VeriScan app.
In-app group colors now match the colors in the portal exactly (rather than approximately).
Counter is now disabled by default and only enabled by the VeriScan Cloud Portal

Removed "Can't Scan ID" button. If an ID is unscannable, refer to your company's SOP for whether to ask for an alternate form of ID or perform a manual entry of the visitor's ID details.
Removed "Location" toggle in the in-app settings. To apply location data to scans or images captured within the app, allow the Location Permission in the Android System Settings.

Fixed an issue where an underage visitor would appear in "More Alerts" but not in the Alert Popup carosel.

Increased timeout of the face service module to prevent error when launching VeriScan.

Addressed an issue where some antivirus software mistakenly flagged specific VeriScan files, preventing their use.

Support for the most recent ASDK 3.29.

Fixed an issue where the Tap2iD would produce a Scan Processing Error under certain conditions.

Added a Back to Users button to return to the user list when viewing a specific user's details.
Added an option for Admins to delete the Cropped ID Photo from individual history entries.
Added an Admin Security Lock option to restrict VeriScan for Windows users from viewing the Details tab.
Location column has been added to the Device Activity Report.
Localization for French and Spanish. To change your language, click on your name at the top right, then select Profile. Once on the my.IDScan.net page, select your language using the 'language' selection button.

Updated UI elements and dark theme. The theme can be changed by hovering over your name at the top right.

Fixed an issue where Visit Comments were not appearing in the This Visit window.
Fixed an issue when selecting 'X' or 'Unknown' in the Sex filter in history would turn up empty results.
Fixed cosmetic issues related to overlapping text within the Traffic Report.
