VeriScan Product Updates August 2026

Resolved an issue where the Thales AT10K scanner was unresponsive and would not scan.

Added a Scan Error Detected pop-up when VeriScan detects corrupted or incomplete images. This can sometimes occur when the ID is damaged. The use of an alternative form of ID is recommended in this case.
ID images are now included in the Authentication Report for ID Authentication customers. This can be toggled off in Local Settings > Authentication tab under the option “Include ID images in report”.
Added support for the custom fields Profile Selection Prompt configured in the VeriScan Cloud portal when two or more custom fields profiles are enabled.
Added a "Hold the document still" pop-up during passport scanning on flatbed scanners to ensure complete data capture.
Added additional logging to monitor the initialization process.
Added support for ASDK 3.31.

Custom fields are now available for VeriScan for iOS including profiles, retention, and required fields.
App functions can now be restricted using the Admin Pin in Device Access in the VeriScan Portal.

Device login and device name are now both shown in the left-side menu.
Account and device information can now be found in the About section of the app.

Fixed an issue where read-only devices would sync offline scans indefinitely.
Fixed an issue where devices were allowed to scan offline when offline scanning was disabled via the portal.
