      VeriScan Product Updates December 2023

      VeriScan Cloud -  2023-12-27

      Added

      • Face Match View in History - works in conjunction with VeriScan for Windows for ID Authentication users who also use a webcam to take a live photo of each visitor. 
      • Photo to Alert List entries - admin users can upload a photo along with an alert list entry. Then, when someone matching that entry is scanned, the uploaded photo will appear in VeriScan for Windows so that the end user can visually assess whether or not it’s the same person. 
      • Scan Status field in History - reflects the overall status shown in VeriScan for Windows at the time of the scan, available in Configure Columns. 
      • Group assignment in Visitors - allows users to change or remove Group assignment in bulk.

        • Integration > Webhooks Design - Changed accordion-style endpoint edit and creation to a modal to make navigation and adjustment of settings clearer.

        • New feature: Face Match - For ID Authentication subscribers using a webcam, VeriScan will automatically match the face on the ID photo with the face captured by the webcam. This adds an extra layer of security to the authentication process by ensuring the photo from the ID matches the person presenting it.
        • New feature: Photo in alert list pop-up - When adding someone to the alert list in the VeriScan Cloud portal, you now have the option to add a photo. Scanning someone on your alert list with a photo will also display the photo in the pop-up.
        • Added an option to disable face cropping in the Live Photo when using a webcam or IP camera. This option is enabled by default.
        • ASDK 3.11 support.

        • The drag and drop images from scan results feature is now restricted to Enterprise, Enterprise (Legacy) and ID Authentication plans only.
        • An Initializing message will appear upon app launch and remain visible until VeriScan has completed its checks of available scanners and services. The Ready to Scan message will only appear once the app is truly ready to scan.
        • IdentiFraud improvements.

        Fixed

        • Fixed an issue where the Ready to Scan screen was visible while a scan was processing.
        • Fixed a pagination issue in the Document Collector history.
        • Cosmetic issues in dark mode.
        • Miscellaneous cosmetic fixes.
