DIVE Online to VeriScan Setup

How to Setup a DIVE Online to VeriScan Integration

Requirements

  • An active IDScan.net account with the DIVE Online and VeriScan products on the same account.

Setup

  1. Open the VeriScan Cloud and DIVE Online portals within the my.idscan.net account.
  2. In VeriScan Cloud, locate the device list in Access Management -> Devices.
  3. Select the device to link the integration and note the 5-digit Device ID.
    1. The device ID has been hidden for this article.
  4. Open the DIVE Online portal and go to "Webhooks."
    1. Add a Webhook by pressing the button.
    2. Create a webhook with the "VeriScan" type and attach the Device ID. Then press "Create". 
      Please contact support@idscan.net if you do not have the "VeriScan" option.
  5. Finish a DIVE Online scan.
  6. Open the VeriScan Cloud portal's history.  The scan from DIVE Online will now appear.

    1. An alert will appear based on the overall DIVE Online result.
      or
    2. The VeriScan columns can also be configured to present DIVE-specific scans. This column also provides a link to the DIVE Online portal scan entry.

 

Troubleshooting

  1. I do not have the DIVE Online/VeriScan product on my account. How do I get access to one or both products?
    1. Contact sales@idscan.net or support@idscan.net
  2. I am unable to add a VeriScan webhook in the DIVE Online portal.
    1. If your account does not have the VeriScan webhook option, contact support@idscan.net
    2. Check for an existing VeriScan webhook. There can only be one active at a time.
  3. I have an error that says "Device with id ##### not found".
     
    1. Ensure you are entering a device ID that exists on your account.
    2. The device ID is not the device login. (Example device login "test" with ID 55555).
  4. My DIVE Online scan is not appearing in the VeriScan Portal.
    1. Ensure the device is linked to DIVE Online and is enabled in the VeriScan Cloud portal.
    2. View the DIVE Online portal result for a valid pass/fail result.
    3. Check if the Webhook is Enabled.
