Before you begin, be sure you have the latest drivers for your scanner installed.
You can use this guide to help you install your scanner's drivers.
Connecting a Serial / COM Port Scanner
Applies to:
- E-Seek M250, M260, M280
- Thales CR100, CR100M
- Unitech TS100, TS200
- Right click on the ParseLink tray icon to open the menu.
- Hover over the Reader/Scanner #1 menu item until you see the dropdown.
- Select your Serial / COM Port Scanner from the dropdown menu.
Connecting an Image Reader Scanner
Applies to:
- Thales CR5400, QS1000, QS2000, AT9000, AT10K
- E-Seek M500
- Right click on the ParseLink tray icon to open the menu.
- Click on the Image Reader Settings menu item.
- A window should pop up with the Page Reader Settings menu.
- Select the scanner you wish to connect from the dropdown menu at the top.
- If there is more than one option, you can identify your scanner by matching its serial number.
Connecting a Digital Check Scanner
Applies to:
- Digital Check SmartSource SSP1-Elite
- Digital Check SmartSource SSX1-Elite
- Right click on the ParseLink tray icon to open the menu.
- Click on the Digital Check menu item.
Connecting via USB
- Enable the TWAIN checkbox and select SmartPVA Scanner.
- The connection mode should be locked to USB.
- Press the Connect button next to the USB Connection status box.
- The status box should turn green when there is a successful connection.
Connecting via LAN
- Disable the TWAIN checkbox and select SmartPVA Scanner.
- Set the connection mode to Ethernet.
- Enter the local IP address of the Digital Check Scanner.
- Press the Connect button next to the IP Address status box.
- The status box should turn green when there is a successful connection.
