How do I collect documents in ParseLink to securely send them to IDScan.net for review?

A guide to using document collector in ParseLink.

With the ParseLink app running, right click on the green PL icon in the system tray of the task bar.

Navigate to Right-Click Menu > Help > Collect ID

The document collector window should appear with a few options at the top and a preview panel.

If your PC is connected to the internet, ensure that the Send to Cloud checkbox is checked. This will encrypt your ID and securely send the samples directly to IDScan.net support.

With the window open, scan the ID you wish to be collected.

On two sided scanners, it will ask you to flip an ID or driver's license over so that both sides of the ID can be collected. Make sure to scan the front and back of the ID when it asks you to flip.

When the scan is complete, a reference ID popup will appear with a reference number. Please not this reference number as it will assist your support agent in attaching the collected ID sample to your support ticket.

You can use the Copy button to copy the ID to your clipboard directly. Make sure to paste the ID number in your email or ticket to support before closing this window.

Click the OK button to close the window after you've sent the ID number to our support team.

The document collector window will stay open and you can see preview images of what is sent.

If you have more than one ID to scan, leave this window open and scan them one by one. Make sure to save the reference IDs for each ID you scan as they may not be sequential.

Once you've scanned all the IDs and saved all the reference numbers, you can close the window.
