How to edit the configuration file in the ParseLink settings to allow using Ctrl + Backspace hotkey in other applications without triggering the M280 additional image menu.

Overview
ParseLink uses the hotkey Ctrl + Backspace
to allow additional images to be captured using your M280 using the previous scans data. If you need to use this hotkey for something else while ParseLink is running, this guide will help you disable the hotkey so you can use it in other applications and workflows.
Disabling the Hotkey
Exit the ParseLink App
Right-click on the ParseLink icon in your system tray.
Select the Exit option to close ParseLink before proceeding.
Edit the Configuration File
Open file explorer to the following directory:
C:\ProgramData\IDScan.net\ParseLink\Settings\
Open the E-Seek Image Scanner settings file in a text editor.
IDScan.EseekImageScannerSettings.cfg
You can use the Notepad app that comes with windows to open and edit this file.
Locate the line that reads:
SuppressHotkeySaveDialog:System.Boolean#IDScan.EseekImageScanner ` <False>~<False>
Change the first value from <False>
to <True>
The line should now read:
SuppressHotkeySaveDialog:System.Boolean#IDScan.EseekImageScanner ` <True>~<False>
Save and close the .cfg file and continue to restarting the app.
Restart the ParseLink App
Using the start menu or the desktop, restart the ParseLink app.
The hotkey should now be disabled.

Exit the ParseLink App
Right-click on the ParseLink icon in your system tray.

Troubleshooting
If ParseLink starts to misbehave after editing the configuration files, or you get any error messages, try the following steps:
- Restart the ParseLink app
- Sometimes restarting the ParseLink app can reload the correct settings.
- This can fix some basic issues.
- Delete the E-Seek configuration file and restart the ParseLink app
- ParseLink will regenerate the configuration file with default values.
- This can fix most basic issues.
- Delete the E-Seek configuration file, then uninstall and reinstall the ParseLink app
- The ParseLink installer will reinspect all required files and rebuild them.
- This can fix most basic and advanced issues.
