Prepping your Tablet for the Upgrade
This guide will fully remove the VeriScan 2 app from your device. If you have any data that still needs to be synced, continue this section to ensure no data is lost in the upgrade.
- Ensure your device is connected to the internet.
- Open the VeriScan Cloud app on your device.
- Make sure the app is in online mode
- This means there is not offline data to sync to the portal.
- You can also force a resync by tapping the Cloud Icon in the top right of the VeriScan app screen twice: Once to go offline, then once to go back online.
- If your device has a Syncing popup, allow the sync to finish before continuing.
Uninstall VeriScan 2
Open the System Settings
- Press the Home button to get to the Android Home Screen
- Swipe up to open the App Drawer
- Scroll down to the Settings app and open the System Settings
- Navigate to the Apps section and select Apps & Notifications.
- Tap on the App Info button to open a list of all installed apps on your device.
- Scroll down until you see the VeriScan Cloud app.
- Tap on the VeriScan Cloud app to open the app details.

- Click on the Uninstall this app button.
- Click OK to confirm in the popup to delete the app.
- The old VeriScan Cloud app should now be removed from your device.
