Added

  • Automatic updates. VeriScan updates will now automatically download updates in the background and prompt you when the update is ready. Additionally, IT admins can choose to install updates manually after first testing updates on specific test devices.
  • You can now sign into the VeriScan app using single sign-on. Follow this guide to get SSO set up on your account and this guide to start requiring users to use SSO.
  • Sticker Detected alert for ID Authentication subscribers. VeriScan will notify you when it detects a sticker, tape, or residue on the ID, which can negatively affect the authentication engine’s ability to properly authenticate the ID.
  • Option to delete all settings and program data when uninstalling VeriScan.
  • Ability to specify which pages to print when printing agreements.

Changed

  • The controls for the Views section of Local Settings has been moved to the VeriScan Cloud portal. Admins can now select which view their end devices will be using and enable an option to allow for the end devices to change this setting on their own.
  • Certain configuration settings (Views, Show Photos, etc) that were only available on the Scan Results screen are now always visible, even when there is not an active scan. This allows you easy access to these settings before and between scans.

Fixed

  • Resolved an issue where you were unable to change or rearrange configurable columns in History.
  • Issue where two windows would sometimes open when launching VeriScan.
  • Issue where the VeriScan window would change size and position while scanning if the window had previously been “snapped” (Windows key + arrow key) to the right or left of the screen.
  • Issue where certain IDs would scan as Unrecognized.
